How the work is done
Most of what goes wrong in this trade comes from one habit: pointing a pressure washer at everything. It works beautifully on concrete and it ruins render, sandstone, decking and roof tiles.
So the approach here is the opposite. The default is the gentlest method that will actually shift the growth — a treatment left to work, low pressure, and patience — with the machine brought out only where the surface can genuinely take it.
That is slower. It is also why the render is still on the wall a year later, and why the sandstone is not covered in lance marks that never come out.
